Incredible piece of hand painted Limoges signed by the artist (V. Caron). This rather large punch bowl or table centerpiece stands approximately 4” high on its carefully gilded four feet. It is approximately 7” across deals and weighs almost 2.5 pounds. I could not identify the pattern, but it appears to include wild roses. It has the traditional plain white in the interior. Selling in excellent used condition given its age. There are minor areas of wear and examples where the gilt has worn off slightly. Please see photographs for more details. Just a magnificent piece.
