“Wonky Star” is the name of this block. Teal, orange, gold, pink, red, purple, lavender— lots of color! With a solid white background. Binding is a bluish, teal color and it's machine-sewn to the top and meticulously hand-sewn to the back. The backing fabric has a white background with a bright, multi-color print. At approximately 40” square, this quilt would be perfect for that new baby. Would also work for tummy time, a fun play mat or even a great wall-hanging to brighten your child's room. Toddlers would love snuggling up with this one for nap time as well. All fabric is quality 100% cotton. Quilt was machine-pieced and machine-quilted using white thread in a free-motion loopy pattern. I used an 80% cotton, 20% polyester batting. Quilt is machine washable on gentle cycle and tumble dry low heat and will only get softer and cozier with each wash, as well as get that crinkly vintage-look.
