Midwinter ”Gay Gobbler”, rare , Dinner or Serving plate, 1955 designer Jessie Tait.

The classic 11” serving plate, Fashion Shape, “TV screen” look, with the design deals outline transfer printed in black, and the coloured turkey hand-applied in bright tones of maroon, ochre and green.

Imagine the reaction when you serve the Christmas turkey on this stunning Midwinter Stylecraft ‘Gay Gobbler' plate. Great fun but also much sought after by collectors.

In excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. The colourful pictorial Midwinter backstamp is to be admired.
As pieces are over 50 years old, there may be very light cutlery marks but nothing that would detract from its beauty or function.
