Very Large Limoges porcelain lidded pot. The lid has a picture of a man and woman on the top and is a transfer print with hand painted accents. The rest of the pot is a rich dark blue colour with opulent gold decoration. This is a substantial piece and not your usual little trinket box, it's very rare to find one of this size.
It measures 20cms (8") wide x 14cms (5 1/2") deep x 10cms (4") deals tall approximately.
Condition is good however it does have two tiny chips one on the rim of the box and one underneath Please study the photos 6 & 7 which show these small imperfections. It's so beautiful and rare in this size.
