How to tell if it's a error done to the coin before or after it was made in to a coins, you see on Lincoln's head where the error is and you notice how you can still see the detail in the error when if it was done after the coin was made the detail would be missing in the error if that makes since. The coins also is missing the “S” in trust this could be from the planchet error being deeper at that spot or the die could of have the S filled in with grease which results in a coin missing letters, number or some detail of the coin.
