This modern hostess bowl is wheel deals thrown and hand modified.
The dark clay used for this bowl is fired to a deep, rich brown. The exterior is left unglazed, enhancing the natural texture of the clay. The glazed blue interior give the piece a brightness of color, along with a contrast in texture with the natural clay.

All of my glazes are lead free, food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
