This is a liddicoatite which is a variety of tourmaline. The typical variety seen on the market is elbaite not liddicoatite making this a more rare collectors material. This has a classic root beer color and good clarity when backlit. Then it goes to a lovely pink and then green color as a cap! Lovely and classic example of this mineral from this locality!!
