Libyan Gold Tektite (Libyan Desert Glass) 'A' Grade - 15.5g Formed approximately 26 million years ago (possibly from a meteoric large aerial burst), Libyan Desert Glass is a golden coloured Tektite, used by man to make tools since the Pleistocene era and also by the Pharaohs as jewellery. This 'A' grade, natural example measures approx. 5.1 cms deals x 2.8 cms x 1.2 cms at the widest points and weighs 15.5g and is even nicer in real life than I have been able to capture with my camera. Libyan Gold Tektite is said to be a stone of confidence and is also one of the high vibrational stones.
