This is a vintage Sorrento (Italian made) inlaid wood, music/jewelry box with a Reuge musical movement. It has a high gloss finish and floral design. It is in fabulous condition. Sorrento inlaid wood boxes are top of the line, and Reuge is THE name in vintage musical movements. This octagonal wood box has detailed, inlaid flowers on the lid and the deals interior is a floral red velvet. Upon opening, the music box plays “Dr. Zhivago”. No other musical movement compares to the perfectly detailed sound of a Reuge musical movement. A perfect gift, as it is very clean and maintained beautifully. Overall, the box is in great shape. Mild scratches on the side (see photos). The Music box was removed and hand cleaned. Works perfectly. Please zoom in and look at all photos for best description.
