Wood Fired Gourd Style Tokkuri Sake deals Pitcher

Here is a beautiful wood fired gourd style tokkuri bottle made with porcelain and colored porcelain. The inside and bottom part of the outside was glazed with a Shino glaze. The top part of the outside was glazed with an Oribe glaze. This bottle has a natural wood ash glaze from fly ash melting onto the pot during the firing. This bottle measures 3.25" x 7" h (8cm across and 18cm) at its largest dimensions. This bottle holds 400ml (approximately deals 13.5 oz). This bottle works as a nice decanter and pitcher for what ever you like to drink in small quantities.

This bottle is food and top rack dishwasher safe in case you want to use it as a serving pitcher. Hand-washing is the safest way to clean artisan pottery.
This bottle was fired in an anagama kiln for 3 days.
