If I have to describe the colors of this bowl I'm not sure where to start. I used a combination of two glazes which I have used many times before, but have never before received such deals an amazing result. I expected this bowl to be in matte colors but instead the glazes have combined to create a very glossy transparent surface. The only difference this time is that I fired this bowl in my sister's kiln - go figure!!. This is truly a unique bowl and I hope the images do justice to this uniqueness. I don't think I can ever make another.
It is made from a beige speckled clay which you can see at the base of the bowl in one of the images. The intensive flow of the two glazes has left throwing lines made by my fingers, visible and has covered them with a shiny coating of transparent glaze while depositing the rich colors of the glazes on the lower half of the bowl.
You can use it for your favorite snack or for your cereal at breakfast. Treat yourself to seasonal berries or if you are prepared to part with it, gift it to someone close to you.

My bowls are handmade by me on the potter's wheel. I can create them by order in any shape or size and in any glaze that you may see on other items in my shop. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements.

My work is designed and created with much love, always with the utmost consideration for its use.
This item is made from ceramic stoneware and is fired to a temperature of 1200 degrees celsius (2192 Fahrenheit).
It is glazed with lead-free and food safe glazes and is ideal for use in the oven and microwave but not over an open flame.
It is dishwasher safe.
If the item is out of stock, I can make another one, but the new item may vary slightly in size. That's the beauty of handmade objects.
I work alone and hope you understand that creating new items will take approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
