In researching this spectacular piece, I have seen it attributed to multiple designers of the MCM era including Coro, Weiss, and even Trifari where one seller claims that her piece was procured from a Trifari representative and that it is part of a limited release of 50 pieces deemed cost ineffective and discontinued, rendering it a rare specimen. Take this with a grain of salt! It looks like there is a place just above the clasp where a signature may have been intended. Comes with bail to be worn as a pendant or a brooch.
