Mixed 3 Piece Paragon tea cup and deals saucer, Haviland lunch plate (Schleiger 15); white and gold; Paragon ca 1957-80s; Haviland ca 1894-1931
deals I often mix my china pieces at home - it's fun and I think different pieces add texture and interest, even for settings of one. So I thought I would put some mixed sets up for sale. This one is all about white and gold, which is so elegant, and the Haviland plate just seems to belong with the Paragon cup and saucer.
The Paragon is most likely mid century (somewhere in the middle of the backmark date range), and the Haviland plate is from the first quarter of the century. The Haviland pattern is Schleiger 15.
This set is in overall excellent vintage condition, with very minor gold wear, most visible on the cup handle around the tip where there is a little white showing. But, given the white and gold theme, I think it looks pretty natural. I see no chips, crazing, or crackling. Please do also use pictures for reference as to condition, as part of the overall description.
Cup measures 4 3/4" across with handle (3 3/4" without), and 2 1/8" high. Saucer diameter is 5 1/2"
The salad plate is approximately 8 1/2" in diameter.
