Product code: MCM deals Taylor Smith & Taylor 1951 King O'Dell Coffee Pot- TS&T Jack in the Pulpit
This is a classic mid-century Taylor Smith and Taylor Conversation line coffee pot in the King O'Dell pattern designed by the renowned designer Valter Dorwin Teague (1883-1960). The manufacturing date printed on the bottom is 12-51 (December 1951). The only other example I could find available was through replacements(dot)com for $199. This has a small deals chip on the tip of the spout but doesn't take away from it's function. The inside of the lid has a chip but is still functional and not visible when on the pot. There is some speckling on the surface of the glaze that appears to be imperfections from the factory. I have attempted to capture all the imperfections as best as possible in the photos, but am happy to get specific pictures if asked.
