Product code: Vintage deals Van Briggle Pottery Lotus Bowl
This is a rare and beautiful example of Van Briggle Pottery. Van Briggle Pottery has been made in the U.S. for well over 100 years. This piece has typical Van Briggle marks, but they tend to be confusing. The deals marks on this piece are similar to the ones used in the 1970's as well as those used for the 1933 World's Fair. This small bowl is fashioned like a two-tone stylized lotus flower. The bottom two-thirds of the bowl is a deep brown, and the upper tips of the "petals" are turquois blue with a brownish tinge. The bowl stands approximately 2 3/4 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The condition of the piece is like new.
