ABOUT DREAM CATCHER:

Triple dream deals catcher decorated with four ponytails made of white fur. Three rings made of metal wrapped with brown natural leather thong are strongly sewn together. Smallest is decorated with fringes made of Czech glass seed beads.
Fur and leather are sourced ethic nad ecological - recycled from clothes bought in second hand shops.

ABOUT DREAMCATCHERS IN NATIVE AMERICANS CULTURE:

This type of dreamcatcher is inspired by Great Plains North America Indian traditional culture - world of horse warriors, war bonnets, tipis and buffalos,
tribes like Lakota, Cheyenne, Arapaho, Blackfeet, Crow, Pawnee, Kiowa, Comanche
In old times first dream catchers appeared in Ojibwa (Chippewa) tribe
and were passed down to west from the Ojibwe through intermarriage and trade.
Basically dream catcher is personal amulet defending against bad magic, bad dreams, nightmares and bad luck.

ABOUT MATERIALS USED AND TECHNIQUE:

I always use materials so similar to those from original items from the second half of the 19th century in original Native American
craftwork as possible.
All feathers come from live birds - 100% cruelty free, collected in animal natural habitat.
Hoops are carefully wrapped in natural leather thong - basic fabric for American Indian.
I always do my best to make web so neatly as possible.
All parts of dream catchers are sewn together with strong nylon thread impregnated with bee wax (better strengthens and stiffens - really solid old Indian technique).
Used beads are original Czech glass beads (same type as used in 19th century).
Bells, shells, hairpipe bone and other ornamentation are same type as those used in original North American Indians items.
Fur, leather are ethic nad ecological sourced - from clothes bought in second hand shops.

ABOUT CUSTOM ORDERS:

Your dream catcher may be fully customized - different colours, ornamentation, size etc.
