Vintage c.1920's Set of 2 Hendryx Blue & Gold Pyralin Bird Cage Feeder Waterers - Bird deals Seed Water Cup for Wire Bird Cage - RARE Matching Set

A scarce vintage birdcage accessory deals set, dating to the first half of the 20th century (likely circa 1920's). These feed/water cups are made by Hendryx, as seen by the text embossed on the front. These are very unique feeders as they are made of Pyralin - (a nitrocellulose pyrxylin plastic). It is a very thin-shell molded plastic, decorated in blue and gold tones. The color is still very bright and crisp for its age. Each feeder measures 3" in height, 2 1/4" in width, and 1 1/8" in depth (not including the tab on the back for attaching to the cage).

Both of these feeders are in extremely good condition for their age. As mentioned above, this Pyralin material is fairly delicate...but they are free of absolutely any chips or cracks to the plastic. One of the feeders does have some mild discoloration/fading to the color around the edges and bottom base - possibly due to use (see second to last photo). Overall, an incredible vintage set. I've only seen one (single) of this particular style Hendryx feeder ever offered for sale before.
