I painted a series of three similar waterlilies (all listed). This one was third in the series and the most abstracted.

The water limit means purity, potential and growth. There's a sense of peacefulness reflected in the perfect structure of the flower--if you've seen them you know what I mean.

I love how one bloom is leaning forward, almost reaching toward the other. There's something very sweet in deals that yearning. Aren't we all doing the same, to some degree?
