I got a lot of compliments on this one when I showed it to people. It was always something like “that's a cool stone, what is it?”. It's crushed indigo opal sprinkled over a swirly royal blue background, paired with Australian mallee burl. It makes me think of a starry night just after twilight. I got enough compliments that I decided to make more in different colors which you'll see in this listing and in other listings in my store.

This one came out looking more like a dragon egg instead of the red sky scenery I was going for but happy accidents and all that and I also got a lot of compliments on this piece. Crushed red opal with streaks of light green opal over a clear background. This piece is completely incased in resin but still requires the same level of care(see below). It's a little larger than I usually make pendants but its size compliments is perfectly..

These necklaces have silver bails and come with the option of a leather or neoprene cord. Please specify in the comments section if you're choosing leather or neoprene.

I am a hobbyist jeweler in upstate New York crafting with resin and wood. I love working with a wide range of materials whether they are synthetic or found in nature. I spend a lot of time walking in the woods and tend to come home with pieces to add to my jewelry while respecting the balance of nature.
Everything is handcrafted in a particular process from the pouring, shaping, sanding, polishing, and lastly selecting proper hardware to accentuate each piece without overwhelming it. Each piece is unique and has its own perfect imperfections. Because they are handcrafted, when imperfections present (sometimes bubbles or a spec of something from another piece), I decide if it passes muster and compliments the item for a satisfactory end result. Before shipping each piece I inspect for any micro scratches and correct them if needed so that it truly shines. You will also receive a small pot of wood conditioners with any wood pieces.

Shipping: I am willing to ship pretty much anywhere, however, with some countries(China, Hong Kong, Thailand), the shipping costs will outvalue the price of the item. Please message me if you are still interested and I will get a quote and adjust shipping costs.

******Please do not wear any of these pieces in the shower, bath, swimming, or during any activity that will get it wet. While some of my pieces are solely resin or the wood is incased in resin, they are still vulnerable to damage and degradation if exposed to moisture. While resin and wood jewelry have good longevity, care is needed to extend the life of the piece.
Care Instructions:
-Water Resistant, not waterproof. See above^^
-Avoid exposing your jewelry to direct sunlight as prolonged exposure can cause the resin to discolor and soften, yellow, and fade any pigments or other additives(natural or synthetic).
-Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals and cleaning agents. They usually have solvents in them no matter how natural they are (lemons=tooth erosion). Rubbing alcohol works especially quickly in breaking down resin. I use it to clean any that gets on my skin during the pouring process. If you need to clean it, you can use a clean microfiber cloth or chamois to gently wipe. Chamois hold moisture so only use them when something is dried on.
-Remove jewelry when applying lotions, perfume, hair products, or other beauty products.
-Avoid bumps, scrapes, and scratches by removing your jewelry before any athletic or physical activities, indoor or outdoor household chores, and before bedtime.
-Smoking: it will cause the jewelry to yellow over time
