Product code: Fiesta VINTAGE deals RADIOACTIVE RED Disc Pitcher

deals Fiesta Disc pitcher by Homer Laughlin China in Vintage Radioactive Red. The Disc Pitcher was first introduced in 1938.
Because uranium (used in the original red glaze) was needed for the war effort, "radioactive red" ran until 1943.
Fiesta collectors will know this as a red/orange glaze. The closest Post 1986 Fiesta color to this has been Poppy.

Overall this piece is in "Very Good" vintage condition, but is NOT "MINT". It does bear a "quality control" stamp, number 7, on the bottom.
Fiesta is fully vitrified pottery with a color glaze. Sometimes there are slight manufacture flaws during production and glazing of the pottery.
There is a slight nick of the glaze on one side, a glaze skip on the backside, a slight glazed pin pop on the front belly, and minor scratches on one side.
The concentric rings show beautifully in this vintage glaze. What makes this pitcher collectible is the quality control stamped number, dating it to earlier production years

The pitcher is approximately 7.50 Inches high, 7.50 Inches long, and 4" Wide

I love and use Fiesta daily and try to describe these listings as best I can for the selective Fiesta buyer/collector.
