Vintage book "And What of Tomorrow - The Human Drama in the Atomic Revolution and the Promise of a Golden Age" by George O. Robinson, Comet Press Books, copyright 1956.

With dust jacket in good shape with very minor wear and one piece of something over the R of Robinson, blue cloth hardcover in excellent shape, writing on the first blank page and it appears to be written and signed by the author, amazingly clean pages, almost like new.

In the midst of atomic energy activity since 1943, the author stresses the many amazing benefits the atom deals holds for humanity, while detailing the dramatic incidents in one of man's most exciting adventures: the unfolding of the growth of a vigorous new industry.

And What of Tomorrow focuses upon the atom in man's scheme of things, rather than man in the atom's schemes - a sorely-needed approach in studying the ramifications of an atomic civilization. Beginning with the scene of the late Albert Einstein pushing his infant son through the streets of a Swiss town, And What of Tomorrow is rich with a full description of mankind involved in the search for peace and progress. It is a book of the human side of the often impersonal atomic story, and a look into the future - the atom story brought up to date.
