Good to very good pre-owned condition. Tested deals and works. Clean battery compartment. Train cars look to be in very good to excellent condition. The engine shows some very light scuffing. Batteries not included. Just a note that the batteries go in the top of the engine. There is one tiny screw to undo--you don't have to unscrew it as much as you think. Once you've unscrewed it some, give the top a wiggle and it will pop off. Took me a while to figure out I didn't need to actually get the screw out. :).
