The design is typical Peruvian and with the different color options individualizable for every taste. The sweaters are available in a universal size for men and women, and adapt smoothly to the body.

Alpaca wool is known as "the true treasure of the Incas" and is mainly produced in Peru and Bolivia. It is a natural fabric that belongs to the so-called noble fibres such as mohair, cashmere or angora. Alpaca is a light, soft, warm and resistant fibre that is used to make clothing, accessories and carpets. Most alpacas that exist in the world live in Peru, they are a close relative of the wild vicuna and the llama; the care of alpacas and the sale of wool are the main means of subsistence of thousands of families in this country and thus their main source of income. Through our producer we support several families in the Andes.

Between November and April the alpacas are shorn by hand with knives and scissors. Each animal is shorn only 1x per year and sheds only 3,5kg wool per year. The shearing process cannot be carried out mechanically due to the fine structure of the wool and the technique of shearing is handed over from the parents to the children of the families.
