1940s vintage Margaret deals O'Brien Candy Kitchen, complete

deals This is a perfectly wonderful collectible: a Margaret O'Brien Candy Kitchen, circa mid-1940s, complete, in its original box (though the box is a little the worse for wear).

The set includes four glass flavor bottles, still with liquid in them (it's possible that they are unused and some of the liquid has evaporated); lollipop and jelly apple sticks, unused; aluminum pieces from which to form molds; and booklets of directions on making lollipops and jelly apples, along with an order form for more supplies.

The original box, as noted, is in rough shape, but it's there.

It's amazing to me that this set survives, considering that it's about 75 years old. It's truly a cool collectible.
