Enamel Earrings – Drop Dangle Earrings – Teal, Blue, Turquoise Enamel w Cut Crystal Beads and Silver Hoops – Handmade – Boho deals style

One of a kind enamel drop earrings. These will look great with both casual and dressy outfits.

The enamel components are a combination of teal, turquoise and sapphire blues and part of my 'Ocean Deep' series. I used opaque colors layered over each other which result in unusual variations of the base colors as well as adding cut crystal beads to add interest and contrast.

To make the earrings, I file and form the copper metal base to ensure a pleasing curve and formed the front surface with a stamp. I did the same with the feature sterling silver components using a punch stamp. For the enamel components, I added two layers of counter-enamel (black) on the reverse side for strength and durability, then several layers of colour on the front and add deals the designs using a scribe tool. This adds an organic look to the final pieces. These pieces have 3 layers of color and effect on the front. After enameling, I hand-make the sterling silver drop components for the crystal beads and hoop wire and assemble.

Each combination of design elements and the outcome from the kiln-firing is unique.

They are about 2 inches total length from the top of the sterling silver ear-wires to the bottom of the enameled component.

Enamel is glass fused to a base metal, so please treat these earrings as precious and handle and store carefully so they last for decades!
