I love working with a blank slate when I paint and this vase was perfect for the project! It was originally a bland colored vase. I might also add it is vintage and needed a face lift! Circa: 1990's. I am always painting whimsical and coastal art, so this was a fun project for me. If you wish to use outdoors, I suggest the vase be housed under a covered area and not let it get wet. I have sealed the vase with a clear art sealant. Maybe add some artificial greenery and keep indoors for longevity. Great umbrella stand too!
