I often say that learning to weave is one of the best things that ever happened to me, and I truly hope it is the same for you! Weaving is a wonderful practice that combines both skill and technique with creativity and fun. It is also a very accessible craft, and I've designed these kits to include everything you need to begin your own weaving journey.

I've hand selected a beautiful fibre colour combination for you to take the guesswork out of choosing your materials. All the fibres included are 100% wool and are of the highest quality. The loom and tools are my own design, and are handmade here in Montreal by a small, woman-owned business.

You have the choice of purchasing the kit on its own (no instructions), or with my Weaving Basics ecourse. This is a 47 minute video that deals will walk you through making your very first woven wall hanging from start to finish. The class is intended for folk's who have never woven before, or who are just starting out.

With this loom you can make a woven wall hanging with a woven area of approximately 9” x 10” or smaller (it can be longer once you add fringe.) You can warp just a section of the loom to make smaller pieces, or you can warp the whole loom to make a larger piece.

In this kit you will receive:

-One wood frame loom (10” x 12”)
-One wood comb
-One wood tapestry needle
-One weaving shuttle
-One yarn needle
-One wood dowel

-5 x 50g skeins of wool yarn
-2 x 25g bundles of merino roving
-Warp thread
