A lovely French Beaded Tapestry, Pillow top. The Tapestry has a wool & deals silk floss needlepoint center with a floral motif of roses and the entire background is made of tiny pale lavender/purple opalescent glass beads. Overall dimensions are 17 1/4" square. The Beaded Tapestry is in good condition for it's age. There is quite a bit of fading to the colors of the wool which you only notice when you compare the back to the front. There is a leaf on the rose that looks like it was never finished and just a few small losses to the wool. This would be lovely framed. The Tapestry is perfect for a Victorian, Cottage Chic or Romantic decor.
