Birch tree painting, this painting is on a 11×14 inch stretched canvas. Using acrylic paint and varnish to seal. I start with the background first, using paint brushes. I then move onto the trees. Where I use a pallet knife. I finish the painting using a deals thin paint brush and add the branches and shading on the tree. And that's it. I used 3 coats of gloss, non-yellowing varnish. This way the painting will last for years to come!
